For the last two years I have been a member of the technology committee at my school. I helped write and research for our new technology plan and visited other tech savvy schools to help us get started with integrating advanced technology at our school. I have put in place key management and procedural routines for our technology in our classroom. Every student K-3 is equipped with Ipods and 4-6th has Ipads. I have researched and used many applications within my classroom. I also record pod casts for my students that help with their reading. With this new technology I also have been trained by Apple on syncing my MAC book with my student's Ipods. I also stay connected with my parents, staff, and students through Edmodo pages I have created.
